If your provider allows, you can add and remove payment methods in the Policyholder portal. Saving a payment method allows you to stay current on your policy dues. Sometimes, you may need to remove a payment method, such as when a credit expires.
To remove a payment method:
- Access the My Payments details screen.
- Under Existing Payment Methods, select the bank account or credit card you want to remove.
- To remove a bank account:
- Select the link of the bank account you want to remove.
- On the Editing Bank Account screen, select Remove.
- A dialog box displays, Delete a payment method? Select OK.
- To remove a credit card:
- Select the link of the credit card you want to remove.
- On the Editing Credit Card screen, select Remove.
- A dialog box displays, Delete a payment method? Select OK.
Your payment method will be removed from the Existing Payment Methods list in the My Payments screen.
