If you set up your account to log in with MFA using text message, you can deactivate it.
Note: MFA helps prevent unauthorized access to your account, even if your password is compromised. We highly recommend you log in using MFA using an alternative option.To deactivate text message MFA:
- At the top-right of the screen, select your profile icon.
- Select My Account.
- In the My Account sidebar, select Security.
- Under Text Message (SMS), select Deactivate.
- In the Warning dialog box, select OK.
