Password requirements can improve security. Longer passwords that include numbers, special characters, and uppercase and lowercase letters are more secure than short, simple passwords. Administrators can set the following minimum password requirements for your users:
- Number of characters
- Must include a number
- Must include a special character
- Must include an uppercase letter
- Must include a lowercase letter
- In the BriteCore menu, select Users.
- In the Users sidebar, select Admin Settings.
- Next to Password policy, select Edit.
- Use the arrows or text box to set the minimum number of password characters.
- Select or clear the checkboxes for the following password requirement options:
- Must include a number
- Must include a special character
- Must include an uppercase letter
- Must include a lowercase letter
- Select Save.
