In classic Lines, you can add Yes/No underwriting questions to a specific policy type.
Note: You can also add underwriting questions to a specific effective date.
- In the BriteCore menu, select Lines.
- On the Effective Dates screen, select the applicable effective date.
- On the Policy Types screen, complete the following steps:
- In the Select State or Province dropdown list, select a state or province.
- Navigate to the applicable Policy Type, and then select Edit .
- In the Policy Type menu, select Questions.
- On the Questions screen, below (Y/N Questions Only), complete the following steps:
- Select the Add Question icon .
- In the Question box, type a Yes/No question.
- In the Explain dropdown list, select one of the following options:
- If an explanation is required when the answer is yes, select If Yes.
- If an explanation is required when the answer is no, select If No.
- If no explanation is required, select None.
- In the Disallow Application dropdown list, select one of the following options:
- If the application should be disallowed when the answer is yes, select If Yes.
- If the application should be disallowed when the answer is no, select If No.
- If the answer shouldn't disallow the application, select None.
Note: Repeat step 5 for each underwriting question you want to add.
