Add a location to a ZIP code using Support Tools

You can use Support Tools to add a city or county to a ZIP code, which links them in BriteCore.

Note: Property locations are restricted by the pre-defined Business Locations in settings and cannot be overridden with this tool.

To add a location to a zip code:

1. Depending on your UI configuration, you can navigate to Support Tools in one of the following ways:
   1. Navigate to the footer of any BriteCore module screen and select Support Tools.
   2. Navigate to and select the user profile icon in the top-right of the screen.
      1. Select Resources at the bottom of the dropdown list.
      2. Select Support Tools.
2. Navigate to the Geography section.
3. Select Add a Location to a ZIP code.
4. On the Add a Location to a ZIP code screen, select the Type of Location:
   1. Add a City and County
      1. Type the city name in the City Name box.
      2. Type the county name in the County Name box.
      3. Type the ZIP code in the ZIP Code box.
      4. Select a state from the State dropdown list.
      5. Select Add Location.
      6. In the confirmation pop-up window, verify the details are correct, and then select Yes, Submit Update.
   2. Add a City and County
      1. Type the county name in the County Name box.
      2. Type the ZIP code in the ZIP Code box.
      3. Select a state from the State dropdown list.
      4. Select Add Location.
      5. In the confirmation pop-up window, verify the details are correct, and then select Yes, Submit Update.

A success message displays confirming the location was added.

Note: If the location you are attempting to add already exists within the system an error message will be displayed.
