Why use this integration?
Reliable Reports specializes in providing comprehensive inspection and information services tailored to the specific needs of insurance companies and brokers. With Reliable Reports, carriers can seamlessly request inspection reports for both personal and commercial lines directly within the BriteCore Platform, facilitating thorough risk assessment and informed underwriting decisions. By integrating with Reliable Reports, BriteCore users gain access to reliable and detailed insights into property conditions, occupancy details, and other pertinent information crucial for accurate risk evaluation.
Product/Services Integrated:
- BriteCore integrates with Reliable Reports Personal Property (report code: PP) and Commercial Underwriting (report code: CU) reports.
Implementing the Integration:
Prerequisites:
Before integrating Reliable Reports with BriteCore, clients must:
- Sign a contract with Reliable Reports and have received authentication credentials from Reliable Reports.
- Note: If you are already integrated with the legacy Reliable Reports vendor under Vendor settings in BriteCore, please disable the vendor since you will be using the new integration instead.
Integration Setup:
- Navigate to Settings > Vendor Integrations in BriteCore.
- Install the Reliable Report integration:
- Select "Install” for Reliable Reports
- Configure Installation:
- Follow the prompts in the pop-up wizard.
- Select New Authentication
- Enter protocol type (SFTP)
- Enter authentication details: host, username, password, private key, passphrase, port, cipher, Key exchange algorithm and if requested, SSH Algorithm.
- Once done, select create.
- Enter the Carrier Account Number
- If desired, check the box to enable automatic uploads
- If desired, check the box to enable sending successful upload emails
- Note: Emails are always sent whenever upload is not enabled or upload fails.
- If desired, check the box to enable Daily SFTP Download of new inspections being added to their respective policies
- Create a folder name for where the inspection report will be downloaded to under policy attachments.
- Configure the display for the "Primary Coverage" dropdown.
- If desired, check the box to limit to Coverage items.
- Add a value to “Limit to item name”
- Configure Installation:
- Select "Install” for Reliable Reports
Note: The selected coverage reports a dollar amount to Reliable Reports. This amount might also stem from a non-coverage item, such as a Calculation item for pro-rated liability. Consequently, these two settings address all conceivable configuration needs.
- The final step is to copy and paste the URL as confirmation that reliable reports will display on your site.
- Once all information is entered, select "Finish" to complete the installation process.
- Select Policy Type
- Click on the "Select Policy Type" button.
- Identify the policy types associated with this integration.
Using the Integration:
As an underwriter, access a policy:
- Select the "Property" tab on the admin view of the policy.
- Click on the "Request Reliable Reports" button under "Inspection Request."
- A pop-up dialog box will appear with fields to be completed
- Fill out the fields specified by Reliable Reports, such as Report, Primary Coverage, special instructions, supplement reports and requestors email.
- After filling out the necessary information, select "send inspection request.".
- The Requested reports are uploaded to the SFTP “Inbox” folder as configured in the vendor settings.
Note: The current implementation retrieves PDF files from the vendor's "outbox" once daily at 8 AM Central Time.
- Once Reliable Report sends back the inspection report(s), a notification will be sent to the email entered and the report(s) are added to the attachment page of the policy.
