The can-search-claims-by-policy-gbn setting allows you to enable users to search for claims using the Group Billing Number (GBN) associated with linked policies.
To enable the GBN search feature:
- Go to Settings > Advanced > Claims.
- Enable the can-search-claims-by-policy-gbn setting.
To verify that the feature is working:
- Create a policy.
- Link the policy to another policy and note the Group Billing Number (GBN).
- File a claim from one of the linked policies.
- Navigate to Claims and search for the GBN (Group Billing Number) to check if it finds the claim.
