Displaying Premium Changes on Cancellation Pending Declarations

Overview

The Cancellation Pending Declarations in BriteCore by default do not include the Annual Change in Premium and Pro-Rata Change in Premium sections. These sections are typically displayed only for Amended Declarations.

To address this, the show_premium_delta_cp_dec advanced setting was introduced. Enabling this setting ensures that the Annual Change in Premium and Pro-Rata Change in Premium sections appear on Cancellation Pending Declarations.

How to Enable the Setting

1. Log in as Admin:

   • Navigate to Settings > Advanced.

2. Enable the Setting:

   • Locate the show_premium_delta_cp_dec setting.
   • Set it to True to enable the display of the premium changes on Cancellation Pending Declarations.

3. Save the Changes:

   • Click Save to apply the updated configuration.

How It Works

• When the show_premium_delta_cp_dec setting is enabled:
  • The Annual Change in Premium and Pro-Rata Change in Premium sections will appear on Cancellation Pending Declarations.
• This setting works alongside two other advanced settings:
  • show-premium-delta-amended-dec: Ensures premium change details are displayed on Amended Declarations.
  • create_endorse_dec_for_cancellation_pending: Controls whether an endorsement declaration is created for Cancellation Pending policies.
