Protect Agency Contacts Permissions

The protect-agency-contacts advanced setting restricts the ability to update Agent or Agency contact records, allowing only Administrators to make changes while preventing non-administrators from doing so.

When the protect-agency-contacts setting is enabled:

• Administrators can update Agent or Agency contact records, including:

  • Saving a portal enrollment code (API: savePortalCode)

  • Copying contact information from a company ( API:copyContactInfoFromCompany)

  • Toggling Multi-Factor Authentication (API: toggleMFA) or setting a passphrase (API: setPassphrase)

  • Updating contact addresses and emails (API: storeContactAddress, storeContactEmail)

• Non-administrators attempting these actions will receive an unauthorized access message.

Enabling or Disabling protect-agency-contacts

1. Log in as an Administrator.

2. Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Permissions.

3. Enable or disable the protect-agency-contacts setting.
