The Lines Copilot can build a complete product in BriteCore from a rating manual. It reads the manual, extracts the line hierarchy and item classifications, configures categories, limits, deductibles, and rate chains, and creates the policy type and items in BriteCore.
Prerequisites
- Have the rating manual available as a PDF.
- Work in your UAT environment. Generating a product creates a policy type and items on the site.
- Decide on the effective date and the line the new product belongs to.
Steps
- Open Lines configuration, open the AI Copilot panel, and select the paperclip icon to attach the rating manual (PDF).
- Ask the Lines Copilot to generate the product, for example “Create the Personal Auto product from this manual.”
- The Copilot analyzes the manual and presents its understanding of the structure before building. Review the proposed structure and confirm, or correct anything that does not match the manual.
- Once confirmed, the Copilot configures the line: it creates the policy type and items, configures categories, limits, and deductibles, and builds and validates the rate chains.
- Review the generated structure, tables, and factors against the manual.
Tips
- Large manuals take longer to process. Attach only the sections that describe the product you are building when possible.
- If the manual is scanned rather than text-based, confirm that the Copilot read the tables correctly by asking it to show a sample, for example “Show the first 10 rows of the Territory Factors table.”
- Use Explore and Summarize the Product to verify each table and factor before you change rates or promote the product.
