In BriteCore, there are four types of document settings relating to Line Items:
- Policy
- Line item
- Global
- Advanced
Access policy document settings
To access policy document settings:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Lines.
- On the Effective Dates screen, select the effective date you want to use.
- On the Policy Types screen, select the Select State or Province dropdown list, and then select a state or province.
- In the policy types list, navigate to the policy type you want to access the document settings for. Then, to the left of the policy type, select the edit pencil icon.
- On the Policy Type - Details screen, in the Documents section, you can access the document settings listed in the Policy document settings table.
Note: The settings are only available if there is a document attached to the policy type.

Suppress Printing | The form doesn’t print for this policy type. |
Always Print on Renewal | The form always prints on renewal for this policy type. |
Applies when Mortgagee on Policy | The form only prints when a user adds a specific type of mortgagee is added to a policy. You can configure options for mortgagee types using the Settings > Modules > Policies > Mortgagee Types setting. |
Access line item document settings
To access line item document settings:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Lines.
- On the Effective Dates screen, select the effective date you want to use.
- On the Policy Types screen, select the Select State or Province dropdown list, and then select a state or province.
- In the policy types list, navigate to the policy type you want to access, and then, to the left of the policy type, select the edit pencil icon.
- On the Policy Type - Details screen, in the Setup section, to the left of the line item you want to access the document settings for, select the edit pencil icon.
- On the Edit Line Item screen, in the Document(s) section, you can access the document settings listed in the Line item document settings table.
- When you're finished, select Save.
Note: The settings are only available if there is a document attached to the line item.

When it is on a policy, a client may want the Scheduled Personal Property form to always print on renewal. |
Access global document settings
To access global document settings:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- On the Business Locations screen, select the Deliverables tab.
- On the Deliverables screen, you can access the document settings listed in the Global document settings table below.
- When you're finished, select Save.

Access the advanced document setting
To access the advanced document setting:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- On the Business Locations screen, select the Advanced tab.
- On the Advanced Settings screen, in the Search for a Setting box, type sort-forms-for-printing, and then select Search.
- In the sort-forms-for-printing box, select True to print forms alphabetically.
Note: Changes are saved automatically.
