Lines settings - Persistent Builder Options

In BriteCore, Lines has the following module-specific settings under Persistent Builder Options:

• Exclude Supplemental Questions
• Derive deductible selection when previous selection is removed

Exclude Supplemental Questions

You can exclude supplemental questions from Persistent Builder. Excluding supplemental questions from Persistent Builder allows users to add supplemental questions for new business without causing conflicts for renewal business.

To exclude supplemental questions:

1. In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
2. In the Settings menu, select Modules, and then select Lines.
3. On the Settings screen, in the Persistent Builder Options section, select Exclude Supplemental Questions.
4. At the top or bottom of the screen, select Save.

Derive deductible selection when previous selection is removed

If a coverage’s current deductible amount is no longer an option, the Derive deductible selection when previous selection is removed setting automatically determines a deductible by selecting the next closest value. If there are two values equally distant from the current value, the larger amount is selected.

Note: Clients may want to discontinue a deductible offering.

To enable the Derive deductible selection when previous selection is removed setting:

1. In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
2. In the Settings menu, select Modules, and then select Lines.
3. On the Settings screen, in the Persistent Builder Options section, select Derive deductible selection when previous selection is removed.
4. At the top or bottom of the screen, select Save.
