In BriteCore's settings, you can configure the Agent portal to suit your needs.
There are several sections of settings, including:
In Options, you can select a variety of settings to customize the Agent portal setup.
Access the Agent portal Options settings section
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- In the Settings menu, select Modules, and then select Agent Portal.
- On the Agent Portal screen, navigate to the Options section.

No Answer Provided when an application question is unanswered. Unanswered questions on policy application deliverables can be either blank or display No Answer Provided, but BriteCore's default behavior is to display No Answer Provided. Allow Custom term lengths in BriteQuote | Allows agents to create custom policy terms other than standard policy terms. |
Allow electronic submissions of BriteQuote applications | Allows clients to control whether applications can be submitted electronically. If electronic submissions are disallowed, agents must print and mail the applications. |
Do not name property by address | Labels properties on a policy as Property 1, Property 2, and so on. The address won't show for labeling the location. |
Allow property valuations only on applications | Ensures agents access E2Value reports on only applications. This is necessary to consider only if you will be using E2 Value Property Valuations. |
Only display printed deliverables on Policies and Claims 'Documents' page |

Prevent auto-switching quotes to a new lines effective date upon policy effective date change |
Note: By default, if the effective date of a quote crosses a new lines effective date, BriteCore will wipe the quote's rating data, requiring the agent to add it again. Use case: Commercial lines quotes are typically created with an arbitrary effective date in mind and then sit for some time prior to being submitted. Then, upon submission, the agent selects a new effective date. Due to the lapse in time, a new lines effective date may have been put into effect." data-order="Locks quotes to effective dates. Clients can determine what BriteCore should do when an agent changes a quote's effective date and, in doing so, crosses a new lines effective date. To avoid this scenario, clients can lock quotes, preventing them from automatically changing the lines effective date when a policy's effective date changes.
