Enhancement
Enhancing Ivans Integration for Comprehensive Policy Form Inclusion BriteCore has made improvements to how policy forms are retrieved and now includes all essential forms via system tags, thereby enhancing the comprehensiveness of the data sent to Ivans. Originally, only the first form was sent to Ivans when line items contained multiple forms. With this enhancement, now BriteCore sends Ivans a file that contains all of the mandatory policy forms. (BC-12156).
Defects
Resolving Rate Calculation Issues: Updating Category References To resolve a rate calculation issue, BriteCore updated how it references categories set up in the Lines Module by using the latest category name within the database if available and only falling back to the original category name when needed. This change resolves an issue occurring when an outdated category name caused a rate calculation issue. (BC-12057).
Resolving Persistent Builder Issues with Policy Type Validation Clients have encountered an issue where administrators were unable to rate or commit a new quote, with the error message indicating "Persistent Builder unresolved" even though the Persistent Builder was not activated. This issue appears to stem from agents simultaneously operating two browser windows, modifying the policy type in one window while adding line items or sub-lines in the other. To prevent this error from occurring, BriteCore validates policy type in both the Quote Wizard and Legacy Quoting (BC-12129).
Automatic Renewal Logic Fixed for County Specification A recent update to the automated renewal process added a validation to include the property county value into the rate object field specifically when the category type is "Location Code." However, this change unintentionally caused a bug where the Location Code category was always set to the property's address county, regardless of county specifications being selected. Subsequently, BriteCore has addressed this issue by updating the automatic renewal process logic to ensure that county specifications are correctly retrieved (BC-12197).
Fixed the Credit Tier Accuracy during Quoting Process When accessing credit scoring during quoting from the contact module, a bug arose, causing the credit tier to inaccurately display as "No Hit." This problem originated from the Quoting user interface failing to submit the policy type ID in credit tier queries, revealing two underlying issues. The primary concern was the frontend's capacity to trigger credit tier retrieval before fully loading policy information. To remedy this, BriteCore now promptly assigns the policy type ID upon creation. In addition, this release introduces a safeguard to convert empty policy type IDs to "None." This ensures the correct application of global configuration settings. These modifications have rectified the credit tier display inaccuracies and bolstered the quoting process, delivering more dependable information and an improved system performance (BC-12292).
