Enhancements
Increased Mortgagee Description Character Limit in Policy Administrator View (BC-15959)
The character limit for the Mortgagee description field under the property (risk) tab in the policy administrator view has been increased to 10 times its previous capacity. This enhancement allows for significantly more text input, focusing on the number of characters that can be entered rather than the field's visual width.
Enhancing Policy Application with Vendor-Reported Loss History (BC-14496)
The Policy Application has been enhanced to include Vendor Reported Loss History. Vendor disclosures will now be automatically appended to any manual disclosures, providing a more comprehensive and streamlined view of the applicant's loss history during the policy application process.
Hidden Application Questions Now Supported in Quote Wizard (BC-14341)
Hidden application questions were previously required for agents during endorsements with multiple locations and for new quotes submitted through the Quote Wizard. The ability to bypass these hidden questions, which was previously available only in Legacy, is now supported in the Quote Wizard for a more consistent experience across both platforms.
Agent Dashboard Improvements (BC-16137, BC-16006)
Agents previously relied on legacy dashboards, which sometimes affected BriteCore’s performance. The redesigned dashboards now offer a faster, more responsive experience with improved navigation and quicker access to key information.
When agents log in, they will see five main dashboards: “Loss Run,” “Agent Production,” “Payments Due,” “Agent Experience,” and “Customer Service Representative (CSR).” While the “Loss Run,” “CSR,” and “Payments Due” tabs remain familiar, the “Agent Production” dashboard now includes enhanced policy and commission details, along with new filtering options. The “Agent Experience” dashboard provides historical insights on premiums and losses, with detailed breakdowns by line of business for policies and claims.
Key updates include the addition of a title to the commissions table and the restoration of the “Payments Due” tab, giving agents an optimized toolset for managing their data.
Defects
Fixed InsVista Early Cancellation Bug for New Term Flat Cancellations (BC-15407)
A problem with how the InsVista integration handled early-term cancellations has been fixed. Previously, when a new term was canceled before it started, the system created a new cancellation record, but the InsVista integration did not capture this correctly, leading to the wrong cancellation date being used. Now, the system has been updated to ensure that same-day cancellations are correctly identified and processed, using the most recent cancellation record.
Policyholder App: Add Error Message when Attempting to Enroll a Canceled Policy (BC-14931)
Previously, when an insured with a canceled policy attempted to enroll in the Policyholder App (BriteApps), they received a vague “policy not found” message, making it difficult to identify the issue. With this release, the Policyholder app now displays a clear message, notifying the user that their policy has been canceled and they cannot be enrolled in the app, improving transparency and ease of troubleshooting.
Mass Printing/Titanium Blizzard Not Able to Request Files to Print (BC-16174)
Carriers were experiencing problems with Mass Printing and Titanium Blizzard printing files. BriteCore found the issue and fixed it, so printing will resume for all clients.
Uncommitted Policies report missing quotes (BC-16182)
In order to fix an issue with the copy quote functionality creating noise in the Uncommitted Policies report, BriteCore released a new version of the Uncommitted policies report. Carriers have had issues with data removed from that report so BriteCore has reverted the change at this time. Now the Uncommitted policies report will continue to contain both quotes and policies. We are working on a new version of the report to resolve the initial noise problem.
Claims Page Missing "+" sign to Attach Report and Upload Photos (BC-16185)
BriteCore carriers were encountering an issue where their adjusters are no longer able to attach reports or Upload photos to claims because the “+” sign that allows them to is missing from the Claims Information page. The “+” sign has been restored and desired functionality returned.
