Enhancements
Enhanced Navigation Indicators in Quote Wizard
The quote flow has been improved to clarify the active step. Previously, the quote flow displayed only the last visited step. With this enhancement, the active step is now clearly marked by italicizing the step name, providing agents with a more intuitive and visually distinct representation of their progress. This improvement ensures agents can easily identify and track their current position in the quote creation process, enhancing the overall navigation experience within the Quote Wizard. (BC-12900)
Enhanced Catastrophe Assignment Settings
A new advanced setting (filter-cat-using-claims-loss-causes) has been introduced to optimize the matching of loss causes with catastrophes and filter out catastrophes that can be assigned to a claim. When this setting is enabled, it facilitates a refined process for assigning catastrophes to claims based on loss causes.
When the setting is enabled:
- If a claim already has a loss cause(s) set, and it matches with the loss causes set for a catastrophe, then the user is able to assign that catastrophe to the claim. For instance, if a catastrophe is set with causes "Hail" and "Wind," and the claim has "Hail" set, then the catastrophe can be assigned to the claim.
- If the loss cause(s) don't match, the particular catastrophe is excluded from the list of available catastrophes when viewing them for assignment.
- If no loss cause is set for the claim, catastrophes are not filtered out, ensuring an unobstructed view of available catastrophes.
Furthermore, it's important to highlight that the cause of loss and catastrophe are existing fields within our dashboards, showcasing relevant data from the claims. The introduced changes will seamlessly integrate into these fields, enriching the displayed information. (BC-12198)
Defects
InsVista now receiving Future-Dated Cancellation notices
InsVista is now successfully receiving Future-Dated Cancellation notices. The system has been updated to address a client-identified issue where manually specifying a future cancel date failed to trigger the policy into cancellation pending status, resulting in the event escaping InsVista collection. Despite the insured promptly receiving a Confirmation of Cancellation deliverable the next day, indicating the notice, InsVista was not being updated to reflect the cancellation. The implemented solution has resolved this discrepancy, ensuring accurate communication with InsVista regarding future-dated cancellations. (BC-12765)
Addressing County Specification Update Issue in Quote Wizard
In the Quote Wizard, BriteCore has been updated to take the county specification into consideration when rating the policy for certain zip codes. An issue was identified where completing a county specification for a zip code did not refresh the specification to the builder. This led to potential rating blocks and inaccuracies in the quoting process. The solution ensures that the correct fields are updated appropriately, resolving the problem (BC-13052).
Enhancing e2Value Display Consistency in Multi-Location Quotes
Previously, in multi-location quotes, e2Value details and buttons were not displayed until the user left the page and returned to the risk's rating. Also, the e2Value button was not visible on any screen once a policy was converted into an application. BriteCore now recognizes when a multi-location quote is turned into an application, ensuring that e2Value details and buttons are consistently visible throughout the quote process and after converting to an application (BC-13069).
Resolving Button Misalignment in Multi-Location Policies
An issue was identified where the Save Information and Discard buttons for each location in a multi-location policy were not aligned. Specifically, the buttons did not appear inline but rather in an offset position. This update corrects the alignment providing a more visually cohesive and user-friendly interface for managing multi-location policies (BC-12868).
