Enhancements
Redirecting Agents to Policy Setup Page when no access to Billing
BriteCore enhanced the user experience for agents with no permissions to view the accounts receivable page (agent/policies/accountReceivable permission set to None). Previously, when agents without these permissions attempted to open a policy in BriteCore, they encountered an error message stating, "You do not have permission to view the requested module or page." These agents are now redirected to the Policy Setup page upon attempting to open a policy. This enhancement ensures a smoother user experience for agents with restricted permissions, guiding them to an appropriate page while maintaining security protocols. (BC-13254)
Automatically Generating Unique Agency Codes
BriteCore now automatically generates unique agency codes based on the type of entity being created. Users have the flexibility to edit and add their own custom numbers/codes, which are validated based on the configured format. (BC-12385)
How to Use:
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced and search for "agency-code-config". Ensure that "enabled" is set to true and define the sequencing of Agency Group Number/Agency Number/Producer Number.
- When creating a new Agency Group, click on the "Generate" button next to the Agency Group Number to automatically assign a 4-digit code.
- Similarly, when adding a new branch or agency, use the "Generate" button next to the Agency Number to assign a 7-digit code.
- When registering a new agent or producer in BriteCore, the system will enforce the format based on the configured sequence.
Displaying Agency Associated with Policies in Search Results
Users can now view the Agency directly in the policy search results table, providing quick access to relevant agency information during the policy search process. When the new show-agency-column advanced setting is enabled, the Agency associated with each policy will be displayed in the search results table. (BC-13250)
Streamlining Policy Management with Statement of Value (SOV) upload
The Statement of Value (SOV) upload process streamlines policy management, handling multiple policies efficiently through batch processing and reducing manual data entry. Templates generated through the SOV user interface ensure accurate input but provide the fields required for rating and committing a policy. Notably, SOV lacks support for "allow multiples of this line items," thus, BriteCore advises against its use in affected policy types. (BC-10801)
Defects
Excluding Deficient Claims from A-PLUS Report in BriteCore
Previously, in the A-PLUS report generated by BriteCore, claims with missing data were marked as deficient, and an email was sent to the client to notify them. However, despite being labeled as deficient, these claims were still included in the report. BriteCore has corrected this issue by excluding deficient claims from the A-PLUS report entirely. This enhancement ensures that only claims with complete data are included in the report. (BC-12903)
