Advanced settings allow you to choose how to display premiums and fees while quoting a policy. With these advanced settings enabled, you can:
- Display premium and fees separately.
- Display the policy-wide premium on the Rating screen.
Display premium and fees separately
You can display the premium and fees separately when rating a policy. To enable this setting:
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced.
- In the Search for a Setting box, type show_fees_premium_separately, and then press Enter/Return on your keyboard or select Search.
- Change the setting from False to True.
Show policy wide premium during rating
By default, BriteCore shows property coverage and entire policy premiums. A setting allows agents to clearly see each portion of a policy’s premium including the property coverage(s) premium, entire policy premium, and policy-wide coverage(s) premium.
Note: This setting is only available with the new policy wizard.
On the Rating screen of a new quote, the following premiums can be calculated:
- Additional premium
- Each property’s premium
- Policy-wide line item premiums
- Total policy premium
To enable the setting:
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced.
- In the Search for a Setting box, type show_policy_wide_premium, and then press Enter/Return on your keyboard or select Search.
- Change the setting from False to True.
