When making a change to a policy on the same calendar day a revision (new or renewal) is generated and endorsed, you want the endorsement declaration to accompany the renewal declaration. Administrators can enable the always-print-endorsement-docs advanced setting to ensure both forms print.
Enable the always-print-endorsement-docs advanced setting
To enable the always-print-endorsement-docs advanced setting:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- In the Settings menu, select Advanced.
- On the Advanced Settings screen, in the Search for a Setting box, type always-print-endorsement-docs, and then select Search.
- In the always-print-endorsement-docs box, select True.
Verify the setting is enabled
To verify the always-print-endorsement-docs advanced setting is enabled:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Policies.
- On the Policies Search screen, navigate to and select a policy with a new or renewal revision with an effective date.
- On the Information screen, to the right of Revision, select New.
- Create a renewal revision, and then select Commit Revision.
- In the Policies menu, select Attachments.
- On the Attachments screen, complete the following steps:
- Verify the renewal declaration document was created.
- Ensure the Print State is set to To Be Determined.
- In the Policies menu, select Overview, and then select Information.
- On the Information screen, to the right of Revision, select New.
- Create an endorsement revision with the same effective date as the renewal revision, and then select Commit Revision.
- In the Policies menu, select Attachments.
- On the Attachments screen, verify the renewal declaration’s Print State is set to To Be Determined.
