Beta Note: Forms Copilot is currently in beta and is being rolled out to clients in stages. If you do not see the AI Copilot button when adding a custom document, contact your BriteCore account team.
Leveraging embedded AI within the BriteCore Platform, Forms Copilot enables insurers to create, update, and validate document templates using natural language, without requiring knowledge of BriteCore's underlying data model. In minutes, carriers can build and maintain dynamic documents such as declarations, endorsements, cancellation notices, ACORD forms, and other policy or claims documents.
Forms Copilot supports three primary tasks:
- Map existing forms automatically. Upload an existing PDF or Microsoft Word document, and Forms Copilot automatically maps form fields to the appropriate BriteCore data, including policy, insured, property, and agent information.
- Edit templates using plain language. Describe the changes you want to make. For example, “Add the producer phone number below the agent address block.” Forms Copilot updates the template and provides a live preview of the results.
- Add dynamic content and business logic. Create conditional sections and rules using natural language. For example, “Display this state-specific cancellation clause only for commercial auto policies in California.”
Prerequisites
Forms Copilot generates documents from either Policies or Claims. Before you begin, identify an active policy or claim that closely matches the document you want to create or modify. You will need its policy or claim number during the process.
Also have ready:
- The source document as a PDF or Word (.docx) file. See Prepare and Convert Your Document for how the document should be set up.
- The state, policy types, and printing options the document applies to.
Copilot Access
- Go to Settings, then Deliverables.
- Select the state.
- Scroll down to Custom Documents and select Add a Custom Document. The custom document editor opens.
- After you have defined the template and loaded a policy or claim, select AI Copilot in the upper right to open the Copilot panel.
Workflow Overview
- Define the template and load your data: set the document type, name, and printing options, then load a policy or claim.
- Prepare and convert your document: attach your PDF or Word file and ask the Copilot to turn it into a template.
- Review the mapped fields and finish: resolve any unmatched fields, confirm, and save.
Change Records
Templates the Copilot creates or changes are attributed to you, the signed-in user, and recorded in Notes with an indication that the change was made through the Copilot, so they appear in the same change history as templates edited by hand.
