The combine_duplicate_line_items
advanced setting allows users to control how duplicate line items appear on key documents like the Declaration, Quote Summary, and Policy Application. For line items that are allowed to have multiple entries (such as within the same subline or policy level), this setting will determine if duplicates are displayed as separate rows or combined into a single row with summed Premiums and Limits.
Steps to Configure and Test the combine_duplicate_line_items

Configure Setting:
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced.
- Set the combine_duplicate_line_items to
false
to display duplicate line items as separate rows. - When set to
true
, duplicate line items will be combined and shown in a summarized format.
Note: This setting works with the lines settings > Allow multiple for this line item
Using this setting allows administrators to customize document formatting for easier readability, especially when multiple entries for the same coverage are required.
