Setting Location: Settings > Advanced > Policies
Clients who prefer to keep agents on the risk list page while quoting within the quote wizard can utilize two settings that control how modals are displayed during the quoting process.
Overview of the Settings

use_wizard_modal_for_policy_wide: This setting determines whether the quote wizard will be displayed in a modal for policy-wide quoting. When enabled, agents will be able to quote for the entire policy from within a modal on the risk list page. -
use_wizard_modal_for_risk_modal: This setting controls the display of the quote wizard modal when quoting for each location individually. When enabled, agents can quote for each location in a modal without navigating away from the risk list page.
Both settings are dependent on the use_wizard setting, which must be enabled to use the quote wizard functionality.
How to Use
- Enable
use_wizard: Ensure this setting is activated to use the quote wizard. - Configure Modals for Quoting:
- For Policy-Wide Quoting: Set
use_wizard_modal_for_policy_wideto True to enable quoting within a modal for the entire policy. - For Location-Specific Quoting: Set
use_wizard_modal_for_risk_modalto True to enable quoting within a modal for each location.
- For Policy-Wide Quoting: Set
Consideration
When clients enter details for policy-wide and individual risk (ex. locations) with a modal, they can also enable the show_policy_wide_premium setting. On the risk list page, within the rating information section, clients have the option to display the policy-wide premium as a separate line item above the total policy premium. The Show Policy Wide Premium reflects the sum of all line items listed under the policy-wide section.
