The Policies tab allows users to search and create policies and quotes so they can efficiently review and generate policies. The Policies tab appears on the Policies module submenu. By default, the Policies tab is highlighted, and the Policies screen is opened when the Policies icon is selected. If you open another tab from the Policies submenu, you can click the Policies tab at any time to reopen the Policies screen.
UI descriptions
- Policies - icon - The Policies icon provides the link to the Policies module in BriteCore.
- Policies - tab - The Policies tab allows users to search and create policies and quotes so they can efficiently review and generate policies.
- Search for a Policy - The Search for a Policy box allows users to type search criteria (i.e., policy number, named insured, policy status, policy type, effective date) into the search box so they can generate a list of policies matching the search criteria.
- Advanced Search Tips - The Advanced Search Tips link allows users to view search help tips in a dialog box to assist them in efficiently searching for policies.
- Create a New Policy - The Create a New Policy button redirects users to the Policy Setup screen so they can enter new policy information.
- Create Policy (Legacy) - The Create Policy (Legacy) button opens a New Policy dialog box that redirects users to BriteCore's legacy policy builder.
- View Address-Based List - The View Address-Based List button allows users to search and locate policies by entering a portion of an address as search criteria.
- Policy Status - The Policy Status dropdown list allows users to select specific policy status values so they can narrow policy list search results by status.
- Revision States - The Revisions States dropdown list allows users to select specific revision states to narrow their policy list search results by one or more states of revision.
- Policy Types - The Policy Types dropdown list allows users to select specific policy types so they can narrow policy list search results by those selected types.
- Review State - With the Review State dropdown list, users can select specific review state values so they can narrow policy list search results.
- Clear all filters - The Clear all filters button allows users to clear current search filters so they can expand their search.
- Policy Number - The Policy Number column allows users to sort the policy list by policy number in ascending order and descending order.
- Named Insured - With the Named Insured column, users can sort the policy list by named insured in ascending alphabetical order and descending alphabetical order.
- Policy Type - With the Policy Type column, users can sort the policy list by policy type in ascending alphabetical order and descending alphabetical order.
- Status - With the Status column, users can sort the policy list by policy status in ascending alphabetical order and descending alphabetical order.
- Effective Date - With the Effective Date column, users can sort the policy list by the effective date of the policy in chronological order and reverse chronological order.
- Review State - The Review State column allows users to view policy review states in the policy list.
- Previous / Next - With the Previous / Next pagination, users can navigate and view their policy search results.
- Help - The Help button opens a BriteCore Support dialog box to offer users additional support resources.
- View Policy-Based List - The View Policy-Based List button allows users to search for and locate policies by entering policy information as search criteria.
- Address - The Address column allows users to sort the policy list by address in ascending lexicographical order and descending lexicographical order.
- City - The City column allows users to sort the policy list by the city, where the insured property is located, in ascending alphabetical order and descending alphabetical order.
- State - The State column allows users to sort the policy list by state abbreviation in ascending alphabetical order and descending alphabetical order.
- Zipcode - The Zipcode column allows users to sort the policy list by zipcode in ascending numerical order and descending numerical order.
