Column
Purpose
The Address column allows users to sort the policy list by address in ascending alphabetical order and descending alphabetical order.
Note: The alphabetical order is applied to numerals, rather than the letters of the address (Ex:10, 2, 1, 400 would be sorted as 1, 10, 2, 400 in ascending alphabetical order). This type of order is also called a lexicographical order.
Location
The Address column is located on the policy list table in the Policies search screen when the address-based list is open.
Field default
By default, the policy list is arranged by the date policies are initially added to BriteCore, in reverse chronological order.

Change the default
Select the Address column once to sort the policy list by address in ascending alphabetical order.

Select the Address column a second time to sort the policy list by address in descending alphabetical order.

Select the Address column a third time to return the policy list to its original state.
Usage considerations
The Address column can't be customized and behaves the same in both the Provider Administrator and Agent portals. The advanced setting enable-new-policy-search must be set to True and the address-based list must be open to sort by the Address column. If the policy list is sorted by another column, select the Address column to override the policy list arrangement and sort by the address.
