The View Policy-Based List button allows users to search for and locate policies by entering policy information as search criteria.
When you set the advanced setting enable-new-policy-search to True, the View Policy-Based List button appears on two screens:
- Legacy Search
If you set the advanced setting enable-new-policy-search to False, the Legacy Search screen will load as the default Policies screen.
By default, BriteCore displays the View Address-Based List button and displays a policy-based list with different information depending on the screen:
- Policies screen: Policy Number, Named Insured, Policy Type, Status, Effective Date, and Review State (if advanced setting show-review-state-column is set to True).

Change the default
When you select View Address-Based List, the policy list columns change and BriteCore displays the View Policy-Based List button. BriteCore then displays the following information on each screen:
- Policies screen: Policy Number, Address, City, State, Zipcode.

Select View Policy-Based List to return to the policy-based list.
The View Policy-Based List button can’t be customized and behaves the same in the Provider Administrator and Agent portals. To search by named insured, effective date, or expiration date, select View Policy-Based List and use the Search for a Policy box or Search box to enter criteria.
