Column
Purpose
The City column allows users to sort the policy list table by the city, where the insured property is located, in ascending alphabetical order and descending alphabetical order.
Location
The City column appears on the policy list table in the Policies search screen when the address-based list is open.
Field default
By default, the policy list is arranged by the date policies are initially added to BriteCore, in reverse chronological order.

Change the default
Select the City column once to sort the policy list table by city in ascending alphabetical order.

Select the City column a second time to sort the policy list table by city in descending alphabetical order.
Figure 3: The policy list sorted by the City column in descending order.
Select the City column a third time to return the policy list table to its original state.
Usage considerations
The City column behaves the same in the Provider Administrator and Agent portals. The advanced setting enable-new-policy-search must be set to True and the address-based list must be open to sort by the City column. If the policy list table is sorted by another column, click the City column to override the policy list table arrangement and sort by city.
