When you add more than one named insured, the Make Related button will appear. When you make named insureds related, the contact information of the first named insured will be copied to all other named insureds, so the family will be contacted only once about their policy rather than each individual being contacted. You can make contacts related only if they are on all of the same policies. If the contacts have different policies, you can't make them related. To related named insureds:
- Select Policies.
- On the Policies List screen, select a policy number to open a policy.
- If the policy doesn’t have an open revision, create a new revision.
- Add named insureds.
- Select the Make Related button. A pop-up window will ask you to confirm that you want to make the contacts related.
- Select OK.
- Commit the revision.
