A multi-policy discount can be applied when an insured has two or more active policies. Linking these policies allows BriteCore to track multi-policy discount eligibility. Checks for multi-policy discount eligibility are performed during the renewal of a policy. An insured's policies must be linked to be eligible for a multi-policy discount. For more information about linking policies, see Link policies.
Note: Linked policies will also have combined billing.
The multi-policy-eligible advanced setting determines the policy types eligible for a multi-policy discount. During the renewal process, BriteCore checks database tables to determine if the policy group is eligible for a multi-policy discount. Policy types should be entered as a comma-separated list.
Enable multi-policy eligible setting
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced.
- In the Search for a Setting box, type multi-policy-eligible, and then select Search or press Enter/Return on your keyboard.
- In the Setting Value box, type policy types eligible for a multi-policy discount using a comma-separated list.
