Access linked policies

When you link policies together to form a policy group, you can access a linked policy in the policy group from another linked policy in the same policy group. You can access linked policies from the policy header on the Overview screens or from the policy header on the Accounts Receivable screen.

To access a linked policy from the policy header on the Overview screens:

1. In BriteCore, select Policies.
2. On the Policy Search screen, locate and select the applicable policy.
3. In the policy header, navigate to Policy ID, and then complete the following steps:
   
   1. Select the purple link icon.
   2. In the Linked Policies dialog box, in the Linked Policies table, select the row of the linked policy you want to access.
   3. In the new policy window, select the Policy ID link next to Copied from.

      Note: Copied from will only appear when policies are linked by selecting the Create New Linked Policy button.

To access a linked policy from the policy header on the Accounts Receivable screen:

1. In BriteCore, select Policies.
2. On the Policy Search screen, locate and select the applicable policy.
3. In the policy, select Accounts Receivable.
4. In the policy header, navigate to Linked Policies, select the ellipsis, and then select View.
5. In the Linked Policies dialog box, navigate to the linked policy you want to view and select the open icon.
