Policies
Purpose
When enabled, the continue-numbering-sequence-from-previous-year advanced setting will continue the policy numbering counter sequence from the previous year with only the year updated.
Requirements
This setting requires True and False buttons.
Setting default
By default, continue-numbering-sequence-from-previous-year is set to False, so the policy number generated is a new sequence with both the year updated and counter reset.
Change the default
To change the default, navigate to Settings > Advanced. In the Search for a Setting box, type continue-numbering-sequence-from-previous-year. Press Enter/Return on your keyboard or select Search. Navigate to the setting and change the setting from False to True. BriteCore will now continue the policy numbering counter sequence from the previous year.
Adoption considerations
Below is a demonstration of how the policy number will change if the setting is enabled or disabled.
